Is there an advantage to beer-box cardboard other than being able to read 'Molsen' through the grill?    I used the lid from a large 'Eurobox' storage box.

Mine covers the RH side, past the vertical brace on the slam panel to about midway across the alternator, so there's still air going through the radiator, just not as much.  I haven't the big snorkel any more, it's trimmed darned near flush to the inner wing to allow fitment of my ignition.  I still get air through the heater, though more air when the heater motor is running.

Jeg: winter fronts should be made out of cardboard, ideally from beer cartons. I used to cover the entire inlet area behind the grille except for the scoop for the heater intake. Then, when it got really cold, another piece of cardboard was slipped between the rad and the inner fender.

Yours does look sharp though.

Working on putting on doors (new sliders, trim, interior door panels), to be followed by the first start up ever later this Spring, after coming into my possession as a rolling shell around 2000.

I've turned the engine over, and getting fine oil pressure, all lights and switches working after a new harness, so very excited to actually DRIVE it after looking it in my garage for 15 years.

Made a re-useable 2½ - 3mm thick plastic cold weather shield for behind the grill.

Just fitted a set of experimental / development rear brakes on Tubbs for testing.

Can't post a picture yet, but suffice it to say they are made by DSN and are very shiny

Sure is nice to not need to bend over to work on the car now. Been doing great. Getting ready for the summer driving season, for us anyway.

I'm having starting issues so that's what I've been trying to troubleshoot all Winter long.

What about you guys/gals?
