..... I pity those who live in these kind of weather,,,, whilst i am enjoying the sunny 68F weather in Arizona ,,some people are curled up under their snuggies while frying marshmallows on their firepit. No activity! Literally hibernated. I cant allow this to happen to my life. I hate snow period!!!

total miles: 12+17+22= 51 miles
and considering me and wifey weighs about 280lbs combined( yes, we are skinny asians, nuff said).
i think my mini is the only mini in the history of classic minis that runs 51 miles to the gallon. thanks to the oil additives that i've been putting throughout the years, it saves me money in the long run.

i wonder if the joltfreak is still selling what they widely advertised as Honda civic brake system for $500..a lot of mini owners fall into this advertisement on their website but i think not one has ever bought one, why?? because it has never been available that's what i heard., it's just mere publicity, just an imagination, or a plan that has never materialized., maybe it doesn't fit the mini at all.
What i heard was, they(the jolt freak group) buys Civic brake set from junkyard for 20 bucks, they slice the rotor to fit the mini on their imaginary machine shop, then clean the brakes thoroughly using scrubbing bubbles for toilets, lubricate and paint it a little bit then they'll sell 'em for $500...gosh!!!
freak indeed !!!

my take on this issue is that since you have not driven your mini for quite a while, some dirt/debri or condensation accumulate on the clutch pad surface and that gave it a better grip on the initial take off, but after you drive it for about 5 miles, the pressumed "instant power" will disappear and it will go back to normal power. (normal power means struggling going uphill)
word for the day: "wishful thinking"

I may need to install a catalytic converter on my mini, but im worried that it will slow down my already slow mini.
Check your boot lid weatherstrip is sealing properly - put strips of paper sticking out all around and close and latch the lid. The rubber weatherstrip should grip the paper everywhere. Seal any openings between the boot and the exterior, where fumes might get sucked in. Seal all openings between the boot and the cabin. You will have to take out the back seat and the side cards - there is a gap between the rear bulkhead and the outer skin, above the rear wheel well on each side, big enough to get your fingers into. Down in the bottom of the companion bin, you will probably find the bottom is open to the sill cavity, which has openings to the underside of the car. The cardboard bottom is all that covers these holes.
Make sure your driver's and passenger's door seals work properly too.
.

Now after a long sacrifice with my underpowered 998 for almost two years, and after swallowing middle fingers morning ,noon and night from mustang,camaros,V8 drivers throughout the years because my mini is slow, i can say, i am now ready to do the Vtec conversion this 2017.
when i saw steve alexanders video about his vtec, it was really an eye opener for me, he said that he drove his mini to canada 3k miles one way, i was like, wow!!!! 3k miles, 20 hours driving the mini? i hope my arthritis wont get worse if i do that trip...
First, i need to find a good donor car. this is my first project come 2017
ps: i may also need to invest on a good set of high quality ear plugs.,, because All of the videos of vtec mini i watch in youtube are all LOUD.
