Rheostat switch for single speed blower motors. This switch can be used with our 24A1898-N heaters. The switch turns on and allows adjustment of fan speed from full speed to slower in a clockwise direction. Also used as panel dimmer for Triumph TR6. Part number 78405-knob will fit this switch and is sold separately.

This is also the panel dimmer switch for MG Midgets from Aug of 1972 onward.

Is this the same type of switch used on the early Mini 59/60 cars?

Answer:

Likely not, but it's probably similar. I think this one is technically for a panel lams dimmer from a Triumph.
