A standard NGK plug
This is the NGK spark plug that not only has a wide range of applications, 850cc to 1275cc+, but also a very wide heat range. This is an ideal plug for all street applications. also fits the Sprite, MG Midget , and Morris Minor. Resistor spark plugs prevent electrical interference that can disrupt car radio reception, two-way radio and cellular phone operation. This type of spark plug also prevents electrical noise from interfering with the operation of the computer in the engine. Specs below:

Torque Specs: Cast Iron: 18-25.3 lb. ft. Aluminum: 18-21.6 lb. ft.

  • Trivalent metal plating provides superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties
  • Corrugated ribs prevent flashover
  • Pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator, provides superior strength and better heat transfer
  • Copper core aids in heat removal
  • Triple seals prevent leakage

Stock spark plugs for use with alloy 7 port cylinder head. This is an 8mm spark plug.
The BP7ES plug is for higher compression engine that should have a colder spark plug. The engineers explain that it has to do with flame temperature and overheating the plug. I know from experience that my race engine will melt a street plug! Choose from the following NGK plugs:
Cold Street=BP7ES
Colder Street=BP8ES
Cold Race=BP9EV
Coldest Race=BP10EV
