Simple upgrade for your Halogen headlights! PIAA Xtreme White PLUS H13 bulb with a Kelvin rating of 4000K, providing an intense white light with superior performance. Sold in Pairs. These are direct replacement bulbs, no modifications necessary!

The H13 Xtreme White Plus bulbs will draw the same power and run the same temperature as a stock bulb, the stock harness and housing won’t know anything has changed. The light output is much whiter than stock with a hint of blue but still well within the SAE standard for white. The blue top coat (covering the tip of the bulb) will give the headlight a blue tint when viewed from the front but does not make the output on the road blue.

Fits the following models:

2008-2014 R55 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Clubman with Halogen headlights (non-Xenon)

Question:
I was told by my local MINI dealership to check you guys out because I had a question about some LED lights. I have a 2013 MINI Cooper S and I wanted to upgrade my halogen lights to LED lights so I bought some but I discovered that LEDs act weird on the car and even make the light warning lights trigger as well as make the lights flicker at first. I looked up that some cars need like a converter/codec thing or whatever to make the lights work properly and was wondering if you guys have a suggestion for that?
Answer:
Unfortunately, we don't sell LED replacement bulbs. There is no retrofit LED bulbs for cars with halogen lights that is a direct 'bolt in'. Almost every instance requires some sort of custom wiring, resisters ect to make it work without flickering, radio interference, or setting off warning lights. There really is no advantage to having LED bulbs in the place of halogens, because the halogen assemblies are not designed to reflect the correct light pattern, cool the light, or offer the protection that LEDs require. (it's also not road legal)
If you're simply looking for brighter lights - we offer some PIAA bulbs that are 50% brighter than standard and produce a cleaner white light.
