Premium Adjustable Sway Bar End Links or Drop Links. The length of front and rear links are compensated for lowered vehicles so the sway bar arms will sit in a neutral position relative to the swing arm. The length of the rear links are 25mm shorter and the fronts are 12mm longer compared to OE links. This is also 'the' solution for enthusiasts out there with coil-over suspension that lower the ride height more than 1.5".   Sold in Pairs.

These adjustable Drop Links provides three benefits:

* Direct transmission of suspension movements to the sway bar
* On lowered vehicles, allows repositioning of sway bar to neutral position
* Can eliminate sway bar pre-loading to compensate for poorly manufactured sway bars

Everything starts with the material – after all, it is the foundation of the part. NM did not skimp here as these links are precision CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum here in California. Because this is a high-stress part, 7075 was chosen because it has the same tensile strength as steel, yet is much lighter. Just to compare, 7075-T6 has almost twice the tensile strength compared to 6061-T6.

Another benefit afforded by 7075-T6 is it allowed NM to machine or turn-down the centers of the links to save weight and stay clear of the brake lines and brake pad sensor wires. To give you an idea how thin the link is, the centers of the NM links are thinner than a standard AA battery.

NM’s links also utilize precision CNC machined stainless steel ball-joint spacers as stainless steel is stronger and more durable than 6061 aluminum alloy. To maximize adjustability, NM chose a special thin jam nut which allow an additional ¼" of adjustment compared to others being sold in the market.

Front Links:

Two versions available, one for stock replacement, and another for lowered MINIs with Coilover suspension.

Rear Links:

The length of the links are 25mm shorter than the OE link (with ample of adjustment) and is a match for most performance lowering springs out there.

This is also 'the' solution for enthusiasts out there with coil-over suspension that lower the ride height more than 1.5". Be wary of adjustable links that are the same length as the OE units as they will not have sufficient adjustment to position the sway bar sit in a neutral position, relative to the swing arm.

By the way, a quick note on the materials we use…whether it is 6061-T6 or 7075-T6, all grade materials we purchase are certified. We will NEVER buy uncertified scrap or overrun materials from metal/alloy vendors. Re-use the Stock Nuts with these Drop Links.

Material Strength Data:

6061-T6: Tensile 45 ksi, Yield 40 ksi
7075-T6: Tensile 83 ksi, Yield 73 ksi
4130 Chromoly: Tensile 80 ksi, Yield 56 ksi

NM’s Adjustable Sway Bar Links will not yield like their OE counterparts making sure that all suspension movements are transmitted to the sway bar for maximum performance. This part is a must especially on lowered vehicles or cars equipped with aftermarket sway bars.

Fits most current new MINI models including:
2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hatchbacks
2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertibles
2007-2013 R56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hatchback
2008-2013 R55 MINI Cooper and Cooper S CLUBMANs
2009-2013 R57 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertibles
2012+ R58 MINI Cooper S COUPE
2012+ R59 MINI Cooper S Roadster

NOTE: We've had reports these drop links are NOT compatible with Alta's rear sway bar. Their bar is larger than stock dimensions, causing a conflict with the hub area.
