MINI factory 'dual mode' selectable exhaust system adds performance and maintains your factory warranty! Dual mode exhaust controls a flap that switches between 'street mode' and 'track mode' using a battery powered remote. The 'track mode' is pretty much a straight pipe that bypasses the muffler for incredible sounds with pops and burbles!

Exhaust tips are NOT INCLUDED in this kit and must be ordered separately:

• Chrome exhaust tip pair
• Carbon Fiber exhaust tip pair

Include the last 7-Digits of the VIN number when ordering.

FEATURES:

• A stainless steel cat-back system 
• A remote that allows the driver to open and close the electronic baffle inside the exhaust allowing for a more aggressive note when appropriate
• Track mode – opens the exhaust baffle increasing exhaust noise via a button on the remote (this is mode is not approved for the street)

The Kit is different depending on the engine type in your MINI.  Early F56 models had the B48 engine (some 2014 models) and later models have the B46 engine.

B46 vs B48 Engines

The initial 3rd Generation US market F56 MINI Cooper S Hardtop models were introduced with the B48 engine from BMW for the 2014 model year.  The B46 engine replaces the B48 with the 2015 model year. The B46 is a variation of the B48 but classified as Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV) by the EPA.  Both engines are rated at the same horsepower and torque, but the B46 should have slightly better MPG numbers (unconfirmed).
