By design, all Minis will have a tendency to understeer such that the front "pushes" at the limit of traction. This is done by almost all manufacturers as it is considered more conservative and safer in the hands of novice or avaerage drivers. This kit is simple to install but will do wonders for the way your Mini handles in corners! By adding a little negative Camber and the ability to adjust front Caster (the vertical inclination of an imaginary line between the ball joints when viewed from each side of the car), you can really dial in your front end. The kit includes a new set of lower arms that will add about 1.5 degrees of negative camber. As most stock Minis have about 1/2 degree positive- the result of installing these will be about 1 degree negative, acheived by moving the lower ball joint outward.

This is ideal for a street car with 165/70 tires, but the adjustable caster with the included heavy duty tie rods lets you optimize other combinations! Also included in the kit are 'poly' bushes for both tie rods and lower arms! These will enhance durability and stability of the optimum settings achieved.
