MINI Factory Automatic Transmission Fluid for the MINI CVT transmission.  This transmission fluid is specified by MINI as an alternative and interchangeable with the ESSO CVT EZL 799 fluid.  The ESSO CVT EZL 799 fluid is available from the dealer but only in 20 liter jugs. This ATF-5 comes in 1 Liter (1.06 Qt) bottle.

For the following Cooper non-S  models with the CVT Automatic Transmission GACVT16Z:

2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper (non-S) Hardtop
2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper (non-S) Convertible

We recommend you change the CVT transmission fluid every 30K miles or less.

Dry capacity for the CVT transmission is 4.8 Quarts.
