Standard Minis have always been slower than their handling was capable of. Fortunately, many people have devoted their careers to making Minis go faster. As a result, you can fit your Mini with a double overhead cam 16 valve cylinder head, a turbocharger, and programmable electronic fuel injection.
Hello from Australia here just asking of what race motors can you build as I have a mini sports sedan and want to stay with a mini motor but want to put out around 150-170hp at flywheel and do NOT want turbo or supercharger. I hope to here from you guys soon
Regards
Answer:
Thanks for asking. While your goal is pretty optimistic we can get pretty close but to me honest it would not be a great street driver. But perhaps I should first ask about target of 150hp. What is the HP of your current motor? How was it tested? How did you pick that target? Take a look at this info: https://www.minimania.com/Is_Your_Dyno_Lying_
Remember that a stock Cooper S of 1967 produced 72HP!

What are the price ranges based on shipping my own 1275cc engine and gearbox? You list 3 options in your engine rebuild program, just want to get a sense of cost before crating it over there. Also I would like to retain my original engine number tags etc. on the block, is this possible?

I wish that you would be able to offer the Supercharger kit again, and have it be compatible with the fuel injection kit that you once offered.

Are the split Webers still offered. Having had them as well as a single 45 on a swan neck manifold and found the split 45's to be far superior??
