Complete Kit for you Street/Race 1275cc Mini Cooper engine that includes not only the great CAM103M Camshaft but also a set of high quality cam followers (lifters) and high performance valve springs. The "CAM003" cam has been produced by Mini Mania for well over 20 years and has been used extensively in our 1380cc engines becoming legendary in its own right. It is the ideal road cam for 1275cc or 1380cc, below 5500 rpm the CAM003 produces more power than the 286 profile. The average driver spends 90% of his use of the car below 5,500rpm. Our 'Second Generation' '003' grind is now called "CAM103". Not only does this produce over 115HP in our 1380cc motor but it is even more streetable, pulling strong from as low as 2,000 upto 6,500 with ease. All of this with stock ratio rockers and single 1 3/4" carb. One of the added features of the "CAM103" grind is the great performance in small bore applications such as 998 and 1098cc engines. Not know for their high rev potential this second generation cam provides all the bottom end you will ever need but still helps transforms the motor into a hot street version.

Question:
Will this cam with with the 1.5 ratio high lift rockers?
Answer:
Yes, it is ideal!  If you are building a high compression ratio motor, I would be sure to check for piston to valve clearance.  The only other reality is that you should be sure to check for coil bind. Most all valve springs will be fine with the total lift of .440 but checking first is better to be sorry later.
