The NM Power Module is an all new propriatery tune box designed specifically for the 2nd generation Mini Cooper S models with the N18 engine, not some rebranded 3rd party product for the BMWs. It is a plug and play box that intercepts the T-MAP sensor and can be installed or removed within minutes without any detection. The electrical components are housed in a billet aluminum enclosure which is protected from the elements and is designed and manufactured to be positioned within the engine bay of your vehicle. The wire harness is manufactured using automotive quality wiring which is both oil and heat resistant, and has the same OE water proof connectors as used on your engine.

Since dyno numbers are neither consistent or accurate, we are unable to guarantee you will see 30-40 hp on your car. The manufacturer provided these numbers for this product based on their testing and we simply posted their description on our site. It is very difficult to duplicate dyno testing results from one test session to another at a different location at a different time.
With that said, you should still see a healthy increase in power. You may or may not see these numbers since dyno numbers are affected by many factors including:
The test equipment
The operator
The ambient conditions
The altitude
The amount of cooling applied to the car during testing
The amount of heat soak prior to testing
The condition of the car
The type of gas used in the car
And the list goes on.
