MINI (2002-Current)
MINI Factory replacement HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP. This High-Pressure Fuel Pump is located in the engine bay, next to the fuel rail.

Symptoms of failure can include hard starting, rough idle, to complete stoppage of the engine.

NOTE:  MINI specifies new mounting bolts when servicing the high-pressure fuel pump.

Fits the following Cooper S (non-JCW) models with the N18 engine:

2011 up to 03/2012 R56 Cooper S Hatchback
2011 up to 03/2012 R55 Cooper S Clubman 
2011 up to 03/2012 R57 Cooper S Convertible  
2012 up to 03/2012 R58 Cooper S Coupe 
2012 up to 03/2012 R59 Cooper S Roadster 
2011 up to 03/2012 R60 Cooper S Countryman

The High Pressure Fuel pump comes in four versions:

  • 2007-2010 Cooper S models with the N14 engine G2NME6100
  • 2011-03/2012 Cooper S models with the N18 engine G2NME6110
  • 03/2012-03/2014 Cooper S models with the N18 engine G2NME6111 (see note below)
  • 03/2014+ Cooper S models with the N18 engine G2NME6117

NOTE: The Fuel Pump for the 03/2012-03/2014 has been replaced by the fuel pump for 03/2014+, but requires an additional adapter (G2NME6118) when installing on 03/2012-03/2014 models.

Select accordingly.

The HDP is driven by a mechanical connection to the intake camshaft with a maximum fuel delivery pressure of 120 bar (1,740 psi) at full load. Idle is about 50 bar (725 psi). The ECM controls the volume control valve in the HDP.

Tightening torque
N14 High pressure pump (M6): 11 ± 1 Nm
N18 High pressure pump Continental (M6 Hex): 10 Nm
N18 High pressure pump Bosch (M6 Fillister): 12 Nm
