NOTES:
- The G2NME6111 Fuel Pump for the 03/2012-03/2014 has been replaced by the G2NME6117 fuel pump for 03/2014+, but requires an additional adapter (G2NME6118) when installing on 03/2012-03/2014 models.
- The G2NME6118 Adapter is a replacement connector with pigtail that needs to be spliced in to replace the old connector on 03/2012-03/2014 models in order to connect the new/updated G2NME6111 fuel pump.
- Professional installation is strongly recommended - installation instructions are NOT available.

The MINI Cooper Parts and Accessories Experts
Since the updated fuel pump has a slightly different electrical connector, the adapter allows the updated fuel pump to be connected to the existing electrical harness.
Customer Follow Up Question:
Right, the adaptor harness plug connects to the new pump, but where do the loose ends connect?
Mini Mania Part Team:
The adapter is spliced to the old harness.
The MINI service techs says that the amount of wire on the adapter is a bit overkill but is otherwise just splicing the new connector into place, may need some heat shrink to seal up the splices
