NOTE: The Dual Mass Flywheel should NOT be re-surfaced. It can be re-used for one clutch change provided the surface is in good condition. Some shops may offer to re-surface the dual mass flywheel, but we have seen reports of short-term problems and driveability issues when re-surfaced - more often than not.
Factory specifies new Flywheel Bolts - available here.
Torque sequence for Flywheel Bolts - use criss-cross pattern:
- Stage 1 - 8 Nm (6 ft-lb)
- Stage 2 - 30 Nm (22 ft-lb)
- Stage 3 - Additional 90º
