The standard F-series Minis have two plastic access covers on the rear bumper, but only one threaded receptable for the tow hook on one side.  This kits adds the hardware for the threaded receptacle on the other side, plus two stainless steel rods for mounting the Bike Holder.  The Mounting System and Bike Rack are sold separately.

Minis with the factory S3ARA Luggage Carrier Preparation option have two threaded receptacles that can use the Luggage Prep version.

Installation on the USA models requires the removal of the rear bumper cover to access the bumper frame.  The threaded receptacle is mounted on the bumper frame using existing mounting points. Euro model does not require any dis-assembly.

This Mounting system solution is a great alternative to the Hitch based bike rack.  The installation for this kit is much less involved.

Rear Mount MINI Cooper and Cooper S Bike Rack Mounting Kit for MINI with the S3ARA Rear Luggage Carrier Preparation option from the factory.  This is an innovative solution for carrying one bike on the rear of your MINI. If you need to carry only one bike, this is the perfect solution! Bike Holder available separately. This kit is for MINIs with the S3ARA Rear Luggage Carrier Option that provides threaded tow hook receptacles on BOTH sides. Every F56 Hardtop has two plastic access covers on the rear bumper, but only one threaded receptacle for the tow hook on one side behind the cover. The S3ARA Rear Luggage Carrier option adds the threaded receptacle to the other side. If you only have one threaded receptacle behind the tow hook receptacle cover, then you need to order the G3NMA1180.

The F-series MINIs with the S3ARA Luggage Carrier Preparation option have two plastic access covers on the rear bumper with two threaded receptacles for the tow hook. (Models without this option only has one threaded receptacle on the left side). 

Check to make sure your MINI has TWO threaded tow receptacles behind the covers before ordering this kit. If your MINI only has ONE threaded receptacle, then you need the G3NMA1180. All MINIs have the two covers but only some have threaded receptacles on both sides.

This kit provides the two stainless steel rods that fit into these receptacles, providing a mounting platform for the bike holder. 

The Mounting System and Bike Holder are sold separately.

If your MINI has only one threaded receptacle on the left side, you need to order the 'non-Euro' version.
