If you need to carry only one bike, this is the perfect solution! This kits adds the hardware for the threaded receptacle on the bumper, plus two stainless steel rods for mounting the Bike Holder. The Mounting System and Bike Holder are sold separately.
HITCH MOUNT BIKE RACKS - Yakima Assortment
Choose from different styles and budget.
• The LiteRider and Ridgeback are the standard frame mount bike rack (fits 1.25" and 2" receivers). It is easier for bikes with the horizontal frame between the handle bars and seat post - not 'required', but it makes it easier. If your bike doesn't have the horizontal bar, the Yakima Tube Top will make it easier to mount the bikes.
• The Holdup (fits 1.25" only) and TwoTimer (fits 1.25" and 2" receivers) are 'tray type' bike racks where you simply set the bike on the trays. These are MUCH easier to load and remove the bikes, taking less than a minute per bike. The Bikes on these holders are supported by vertical supports that swing up and lock onto the tires - 'no touch' on the frames!
