Standard head gasket for 1275 engines.
Standard composite reinforced gasket used on all large bore engines, and is an exceptionally good gasket. Asbestos free with special sealing ring for the oil feed. Compressed volume is 3.8cc. This Metro head gasket has been proven over time to be superior to even the copper version.

Copper/steel Payen head gasket for MINI. Suitable for all large bore modified engines. 3.4cc compressed volume. THE standard for years has been the cooper head gasket for an A-Series motor. The most commonly used has been this "AF460" designated version. The first of them actually had an asbestos inner core. The modern AF460 now has a environmentally friendly version, but it's still the famous "Copper Head gasket", Will fit a Mini , Sprite and Midget.

If you are having problems with head gasket failure—ensure that all head studs have not pulled the thread up and countersink before refitting studs.
Do not put water in the radiator/engine until ready to start the car enabling gasket to seal properly.
