Most people who think drum brakes on a Classic Mini are bad have never tried the "twin leading shoe"-type as most commonly found on the Classic Mini. The two main differences between the early standard single leading and the much improved twin leading is the use of two separate wheel cylinders and the use of 1-1/2" wide brake shoes in place of the original 1-1/4". This kit includes new backplates, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and all the pieces needed to upgrade from single to twin leading.
