A great suspension upgrade kit for the Classic Mini, that includes both the C-SRP100 blue coil spring conversion kit, and the C-STR644 Hi-Lo adjustable strut kit.
The Classic Mini Cooper has earned much of it's reputation because if it superb handling and performance. But many of us would not only like to have great handling, but also want it to be comfortable to drive as an everyday street car. The stock Mini suspension is most often politely called "stiff", and with the very short wheel base and rubber cone suspension, it is hardly a real comfortable car to use daily. While it is not practical to change the wheel base, we can, by using new-technology coil springs, make a noticeable improvement in ride comfort without compromising handling.
See MMKT0907 for kit with red coil springs.
I suppose upgrading to front disc brakes would be a good first step. The engine (and power) has already been upgraded with that engine. All commercial vehicles had dry suspension so you could upgrade to something like springs and hi-lows: https://www.minimania.com/part/MMKT0908/Classic-Austin-Mini-Blue-Coil-Spring-Upgrade-With-Adjustable-Hi-lo-Suspension
Or just refresh with new rubber cones.
I think I would get those things done first. Depending on what you'd want to do with the 1275cc and gearbox, that could come next.
