Spax Knob Adjustable Rear Lowered Gas Shock Absorber

Spax Knob Adjustable Rear Lowered Gas Shock Absorber
All shock absorbers are not created equal; the Spax brand is often considered the top of the heap! Spax shocks are gas filled for much longer life, and unlike standard oil filled shocks, they are consistent in light to heavy use. The knob adjust feature not only allows you to tailor them to your specific likes, but the ease of adjustment encourages you to change them as often as needed. Spaxs are available in stock lengths (158/M1GAS front & 158/M2GAS rear) for standard ride height Minis, or shorter (158/M11GAS front & 158/M12GAS rear) for lowered cars.

SPAX frequently asked questions
Created: January 28, 2006
Frequently Asked Questions How do I adjust my rear telescopic dampers? There is a knob or a screwdriver adjustment at the bottom of each damper. If you turn the adjuster fully anticlockwise it will be on the lowest setting, then turn the adjuster clockwise - On our newer dampers there will be 28 points of adjustment and on our older dampers 14. You need to count the clicks, as once the maximum damping has been reached, the adjuster will keep turning. Always adjust both dampers an equal number of clicks.
