These are the same brake pads that are included when you first purchased the Brembo GT and GT-S Big Brake Kit. High performance street pads offering low noise and low dust unlike racing pads.

RA01 Track Day Pads 

The RA01 is a racing pad that is specifically formulated to have low wear, consistent performance, and a high amount of “feel”. The RA01 provides a low wear rate in comparison to other standard material race pads.  

RA70 Racing Pads

RA70 racing pads offers a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, and good initial response. 

RE10 Endurance Racing Pads

RE10 is the ultimate endurance race compound offering a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, extremely low pad and disc wear. Utilizing the latest friction material technology, RE10 offers consistent performance under the most demanding of environments.

Ferodo FM1000 Brake Pads for the Brembo Grand Turismo GT, GT-S, and GT-R Front Big Brake Systems. The Ferodo FM1000 compound pads are standard brake pads included in every Brembo High Performance system.

The FM1000 is a proprietary compound supplied by Ferodo to Brembo for great initial response, feel and modulation characteristics in a wide range of environments.

The HP1000/FM1000 is the ideal dual purpose compound for street and light track use.

RA01 Brake Pads for the Brembo Grand Turismo GT, GT-S, and GT-R Front Big Brake Systems. The RA01 is a racing pad that is specifically formulated to have low wear, consistent performance, and a high amount of “feel”. 

The RA01 provides a low wear rate in comparison to other standard material race pads. This allows for the customer to change pads less frequently as they would with other similar pads and due to the low wear rate the RA01 is brake disc friendly by maintaining the disc’s optimal life. Providing a good level of overall performance, feel, and modulation the RA01 is highly suitable for a wide range of environments from hard street, track days/DEs, to professional racing.

Positives:

• Good initial response that will not upset the balance of the car or trigger ABS (depending on chassis).
• Comparable pad wear to other track day pads on the market.
• High amount of feel, control, and modulation.
• Low disc temperatures and disc wear compared to other racing pads while offering a higher level of performance and consistency.
• Lower Caliper temperatures result in better service life of the brake system (less demand on the seals and fluid).
• Very consistent performance throughout the life of the pad.
• Pad material allows for easier bedding and reduced bedding time.
• Very low noise and low temperature disc wear for a racing pad.
• When used with RE10/RA70 front pads, the RA01 can be an excellent rear pad option in the case of excessive rear braking power.

Negatives:

• Pads will potentially wear the discs under street driving conditions since they have an operating temperature of racing pads.
• These are race pads and can produce some noise and dust.
• Pad wear is quicker than the RE10 Ultra Endurance pad.

Notes for Racing Brake Pad usage

• Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust.
• Disc wear could be accelerated if driven at cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range.
• Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it is important to choose the desired compound for the correct environment the vehicle will be used in.
• Pad Compounds are run on a brake dynamometer over multiple brake applications (stops) to test the materials in a controlled environment for the most accurate data.
• Wear rates and temperatures can be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout/configuration and many other variables.

RA70 Brake Pads for the Brembo Grand Turismo GT, GT-S, and GT-R Front Big Brake Systems. 

RA70 is an advanced racing material which is formulated for having long life, offering a high initial bite and maintaining friction under high temperatures. In some cases, the RA70 can be used for endurance races as well due to its’ excellent wear rates combined with sprint pad like stopping power. RA70 is a little more aggressive to the discs compared to the pure endurance specific RE10 pad, but still keeps the disc temperature lower than other competitor sprint pads.

Positives:

• High initial bite, (Comparable to other high friction sprint pads)
• Peak and average temperature capacity comparable to most endurance & sprint pads or better in some cases.
• Works very well from cold temperatures which means the material is flexible for professional racing or higher demand track-days.
• Very low pad wear compared to many racing pads on the market.
• The feel of the pad is very progressive (the friction profile ramps with pedal pressure & temperature).  

Negatives:

• Higher disc wear compared to RE10, but comparable to most other sprint pads with comparable friction & temperature range.
• Can generate heat checking (result of higher temperatures) – This is normal, and is not a sign of disc replacement unless stress cracks are forming all the way to the ID of the disc.
• There will be noise and dust at low temperatures as the material is designed for racing use.
• There will be low temperature abraded disc wear if not used in the correct temperature range.

RE10 Endurance Racing Brake Pads for the Brembo Grand Turismo GT, GT-S, and GT-R Front Big Brake Systems. 

The RE10 is a long distance endurance racing pad specifically formulated for having long life for a wide range of applications and environments. The material of the RE10 has some of the best wear rates on the market all while extending the life by keeping disc and caliper temperatures very low. With low wearing of the pads, sometimes lasting 2-3 times longer than a competitors endurance pad, professional racing teams as well as track day customers do not have to worry about brake pad life even during 10, 12, or even 24-hour races. The RE10 brake pads provide a significant improvement over other dedicated endurance pads on the market which are limited in performance, consistency, and wear.

Positives:  

• Good and consistent initial bite while keeping friction levels consistent with pressure or high/low temperature changes.
• RE10 requires a very short bedding procedure to bed the pads. The bedding procedure is mainly to transfer pad material to the brake disc.
• Excellent pad life, 2-3 times better than the RA01 and other competitor endurance materials. (NOTE: Wear is dependent on track, chassis, and/or driver.)
• Offers a higher level of performance while maintaining low disc temperatures and disc wear compared to other endurance racing pads.
• Up to 10% lower caliper temperatures compared to most endurance pads. These are great racing pads when being used with OEM calipers. (NOTE: Temperature varies based on track, chassis, and/or driver.)
• Lower caliper temperatures often results in better service life of the brake system due to less demand on the seals and fluid.
• Very consistent performance under a wide temperature range and throughout the life of the pad.
• Customer will save money in the long term by not having to replace pads and discs as often as well as better service life of the brake system.  

Negatives:
